Operation Car Care is an annual event held at King’s Automotive in conjunction with Covenant Harvest Church and the Community Foundation of SE Kansas. This event Provides Free oil changes, safety inspections and a car wash for single mom’s in the area. 2011 will be the 14th year. Each year we service approximately 95 cars in a single day. For the last several years the State police and other police organizations have participated in Car care by inspecting child safety seats and replacing those that were out dated. They are also a great source of information in the proper use of the safety seats. Also multiple area businesses get involved in a gift bag giveaway with various goodies and coupons.
The 2011 event will be July 30th, 2011. It is by appointment only and will start taking appointments 2 weeks before the event. Please be on the look out for flyers, TV, radio or newspaper ads, telling you who to call for an appointment.
It is just our way of giving back to the community.
